Your Lips Are Red||St. Vincent
This city’s red
This city’s red from riding us into the ground

The great MP3 bit rate experiment
I think it’s fine and dandy that so many people claim to be able to distinguish the most minute Details found in raw recorded audio. I still can’t help but want to know the truth. Ive done my fair share of arguing on this topic in my day and now coding horror has decided to put our ears to the test. Please go to the site and provide your input by listening to the audio samples compressed At different bit rates. Are you bad enough, dude, to rescue audio compression rates? Feel free to tell me your thoughts on the matter. Let the games begin. http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2012/06/the-great-mp3-bitrate-experiment.html

Sakurako Shimizu, now makes these unique waveform rings with 3D printing and casting methods instead of laser-cutting techniques. The waves can be made from words that one says to their other half.
I would like this mailed to me. I would like the etching to be of my voice recording the words,”Tah-co. Taco.” Thank you very much.

Plink is awesome! That is all…
Plink is an amazing application made in HTML5 and Javascript that lets you make music with your friends online and in your browser (that browser should be Chrome, otherwise it will not run)! Go here to play, or read more about the creator and other similar programs about adaptive music here.
“There are more love songs than anything else. If songs could make you do something we’d all love one another.”
Zappa, Zappa, Zappa <3
Played entirely with Cellos (and a drum)… Finally you can brush up on your survival Italian in a fun way… Ti spezzo le Gambe!!! I love how cutesy this song feels and how terribly rude it actually is.
Lyrics:
Dammi il cielo. // Give me the sky
Dammi il sole. // Give me the sun
Dammi la luna. // Give me the moon
Dammi le stelle. // Give me the stars.
se non, ti spezzo le gambe. // If not, I’ll break your legs.
Se no ti spezzo le gambe. // If not, I’ll break your legs.
Se dici no, non vedrà domani.// If you say no, you won’t see tomorrow.
Se dici no, non vedrà domani // If you say no, you won’t see tomorrow.
